ID Cards and Card Access
Your Niagara University ID card allows you to do many things on campus. It allows for building access, on-campus purchases, identification, authentication, and much more. If you are a new student, staff member, or faculty member, it is important that you get a Niagara University ID card.
The ID card office is located at the IT Helpdesk in the Library. To add money to your card, report a lost card, and more, visit the online card office. There are also machines to add money to your card located in Lower Level Gallagher Center near the ATM machine and in the Library near the Coffee machine on the first floor.

The Office of Information Technology has staff available to assist you with your electronic lock and access needs. While every situation is different, we can find a solution to bring efficiency to your access needs. To get an estimate and consultation for new electronic lock work, please submit a service request.
Niagara University’s Off Campus Merchant Program
The Niagara University Student ID can be used to make purchases at selected local establishments. Students put money on their card through Student Accounts (either through cash or charge cards). The funds must be deposited to the Campus Funds account (not dining or bookstore accounts).
The Campus Funds on your student ID will work as a debit card and provide a sound alternative to the financial issues related to bank and credit cards. There are no hidden fees, no chance to overdraft, and no debt from using your ID off-campus.

Report a Lost or Stolen ID Card
You can report a lost or stolen ID card online. It is important to report your card lost so that it can be de-activated. Your card provides access to your funds and access to buildings, so be sure to report it lost quickly.
