Niagara University is pleased to announce the launch of our M.S. Family Nurse Practitioner program. Welcoming its first class this fall, the FNP program will equip registered nurses with the leadership skills and clinical acumen to provide the highest level of care to their patients. Students will work with our outstanding and highly respected practitioners as they develop an awareness of community resources and seamless healthcare delivery through precepted clinical experiences that will expose them to rural and urban healthcare challenges.
Offering students 780 clinical hours across four semesters, the program has the flexibility to accommodate both full- and part-time students. Our campus facilities include simulation labs that bridges theory with clinical experiential learning. Graduate program faculty are also nationally-recognized clinicians and working nurse practitioners, so students can be assured we’re setting a new standard for academic quality.
We are still accepting applicants for our Fally 2024 cohort. Please visit our program page for more information.

The program is appropriate for students of many backgrounds, including computer and information sciences, business, criminal justice, accounting, and healthcare. For those who are interested, this program will provide the knowledge necessary to obtain the Certified Information Systems Security Management Professionals (CISSP) certification.

I decided to enroll at Niagara University because it gave me a sense of community when I stepped foot onto campus. I knew I would thrive with the small class sizes and endless opportunities that would be provided to me. What I didn’t know is how much of an impact these opportunities would have on me, as well as my future.
