Dr. Philip D. Collington is a professor in the Department of English, and has taught at NU since 2000.

Current Research

Dr. Philip D. Collington’s research interests focus primarily on Shakespeare and early modern literature and culture, as seen in one recent publication — “‘A Mad-Cap Ruffian and a Swearing Jack’: Braggart Courtship from Miles Gloriosus to The Taming of the Shrew,” in Early Theatre 19 (2016), 81-112.
