Dr. Ting Cao

Biography


Dr. Ting Cao joined the faculty at the Holzschuh College of Business Administration, Niagara University in August 2022, as an assistant professor in Management, after completing her doctorate degree at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Western University and a master’s degree in Business Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), and an EMC-certified Data Science Associate.

She has years of teaching experience as an instructor at the Schulich School of Business, York University, Canada. She has experience with multiple course settings, including in-person, online, and HyFlex. She is also passionate to prompt game-based learning and has become an ERPsim Certified Instructor.

Current Research


Dr. Ting Cao’s research mainly focuses on service operations management and service innovation. Her primary research is aimed at gauging the digital transformation journey of financial institutions, exploring the influence of emerging digital technologies, and investigating the impact of FinTech collaborations. Her research has been published in the Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Journal of Software Engineering and Applications, International Journal of Environmental & Agriculture Research, and The Global Environmental Engineers. She also has presented her work at several international conferences, such as Production and Operations Management (POMS), and Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) Annual Meetings.
