Biography
Tahmina Ahmed is a PhD candidate at Schulich School of Business, York University. Her research interest includes various financial archival topics for which she uses country-level and social-media data. Her current research investigates controversy in tweets and its capital market consequences. She completed her BBA and MBA from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Tahmina is a Fulbright alumni, who has a Master of Accounting from the Ohio State University. Tahmina has a teaching experience of 10 years at various institutions. She will teach Accounting courses at the Vaughan campus.
