Our four-year degree in nursing prepares you for a career in healthcare with a focus on the science and fundamentals of nursing practice. Through classroom, laboratory, clinical, and simulated training, you’ll be equipped with the skills needed to think critically and provide sound clinical judgments to deliver comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities as an entry-level clinician.

What You’ll Study at Niagara University
You’ll be admitted as a freshman directly into the nursing program with a focus on anatomy, chemistry, and microbiology in your first year to lay a foundation of knowledge which is expanded upon in later semesters.
Health assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology will build on your education prior to the completion of 675 clinical hours across two years of study with various groups in acute, long-term, and community settings. Additional work in areas such as research and leadership will prepare you to be a well-rounded NU Nurse who is ready for the workforce and eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam.
