Sports at NU

Excitement and Competition for Everyone

At Niagara University, we take great pride in our Purple Eagles! With 19 Division I men’s and women’s teams and more than 20 club sports teams, athletics is woven into the fabric of our historic campus and close-knit NU community. Whether you’re a High School athlete looking to continue dominating in your sport on one of our NCAA MAAC teams, or you’re looking for a more laid-back way to stay involved with a sport (or try out a new one!) at the club level, we hope you’ll find your team here! Or, you can participate in this great athletic tradition by cheering on your classmates at an upcoming game.
