Briana Kelly

Briana Blair Kelly is a multidisciplinary artist and dance educator in Rochester, NY. She is a movement and theatre instructor at the Cobblestone Arts Center, the creator/Artistic Director of ROCeltic (Rochester based performance company), a freelance musical theatre choreographer, and also a freelance photographer (BriBlairKell Photography). As an adjunct professor of dance here at NU, she teaches Jazz I, II, III, IV and Irish dance.

NU Theatre


Briana’s dance piece, “The Story We Carry In Our Bones,” was one of the faculty choreographed pieces included in last season’s production of Moving Back Home: NU Dance Theatre.

Performance Experience


Briana coordinated and produced shows in the 2018, 2019, 2021, and 2022 Rochester Fringe Festivals including: Playing With Potential: Expanding the Irish Dance Tradition, ROCeltic, ROCeltic: A Poet’s Song and Dance, and ROCeltic: The Stories We Carry In Our Bones. Her work has been presented all over central and western New York at multiple festivals, conferences, concerts, and showcases.

Current Projects/Research


Briana is the creator and Artistic Director of ROCeltic, a Rochester based performance company. ROCeltic celebrates Irish heritage – past, present and future – through music and dance. Progressive with a traditional foundation, ROCeltic strives to break down genre barriers.
