NU offers additional financial aid called endowment scholarships.  Students must apply in order to be considered a recipient of these awards. Please note that these scholarships cannot be applied for until January 1, 2025

  • After you have been accepted for admission to NU and your FAFSA has been processed, NU will provide you with a confidential financial aid award offer.
  • Financial aid offer will detail specific scholarships, grants, loans, and other aid programs that you are eligible for.

Current Undergraduate Students

Important information about re-applying for financial aid for the 2025-26 academic year in a timely and accurate manner.

The following forms are required in order to determine your financial aid eligibility for 2025-26. All forms are due April 15, 2025.

Financial aid offer letter notifications are mailed electronically to your NU email address.

  • Apply online for FAFSA
  • If you have an FSA ID, you can electronically sign your FAFSA. If you need a FSA ID, apply online.

Submit application in your Mobile Financial Aid Account at niagara.studentforms.com.

  • Check the status of your TAP Application.
  • Use NU’s New York TAP code 0560 on TAP application.
  • Most TAP renewals are completed automatically by NYSHESC.

Current Graduate Students

Students enrolled in Niagara University’s graduate programs should apply for financial aid for the 2025-2026 academic year (which begins with summer 2025 session) by submitting the 2025-2026 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Niagara University financial aid application.

The following forms are required to determine your financial aid eligibility for 2025-26. All forms are due April 15, 2025.

  • If you have an FSA ID, you can electronically sign your FAFSA. If you need a FSA ID, apply online.
