Program Overview
Credits: 124 credits with 43 credits in Math for the BA, and 49 credits in Math for the BS.
Our academic program offers you a deeper understanding of pure and applied mathematics through individualized instruction, one of the benefits of our small classes. This bachelor’s degree will help you develop and hone new problem-solving skills, intellectual thought, and logic.
We offer flexibility within the program: study for a rigorous bachelor of science degree for students looking toward graduate studies in applied math, or balance our bachelor of arts degree in math with another major.

With a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio, you’ll study closely under dedicated faculty members. You’ll learn from them, travel with them to conferences, and even consult them for internships and career opportunities.
Research Opportunities
You’ll conduct research directly alongside faculty members at Niagara. Our faculty have a variety of interests in the field, including pure and applied mathematics, along with statistics.
