Students Eligible for Free or Reduced Lunch
Students with families that meet USDA 2025-2026 Income Eligibility Guidelines for free and reduced price meals and have documentation through their school’s district office are eligible to receive a reduced tuition rate of $20 per credit hour (three credit hours = $60, four credit hours = $80).
- Please speak with your guidance counselor and provide proof of eligibility to qualify for reduced tuition. When registering, please choose the “Free and Reduced” option in the payment section. Qualifying students are still responsible to pay $20 per credit hour by November 24, 2025.
- A list of eligible students from each school must be emailed to Ashley Gruhalla by November 3, 2025, for the reduced tuition rate to be applied to the Fall 2025 NUSTEP tuition.
All students in a district receiving a free lunch grant do not necessarily qualify for free and Reduced lunch status through the USDA 2025-2026 guidelines. Please check with your guidance or principal’s office for paperwork and requirements.
