Niagara University Esports Logo

Niagara University Esports serves as an opportunity for students to engage on a national level and in competition with other universities from around the country. Niagara Esports assists students by allowing them to network with people and become friends with other NU students who have similar interests as them. Niagara University serves as a resource for students to venture into the rapidly growing field of Esports. This will allow students to learn valuable life, technical, team, and communication skills.

Currently the Niagara Esports program consists of students who play on campus and students who compete in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Esports leagues.

As members of the MAAC and ECAC our Esports program has participated in titles like:

  • League of Legends
  • Overwatch 2
  • Rocket League
  • Super Smash Bros Ultimate
  • FIFA
  • Madden
  • NBA2K
  • And More!

Students play and watch Esports in our dedicated lab, The Nest, equipped with 10 Custom Gaming Computers built with:

  • AMD Ryzen 2600X CPUs
  • GeForce RTX 2060 graphic cards

The Niagara University Esports Club is looking to expand and they need YOU! They are looking for students that play any of the competitive titles but not limited to the list.  See a game that wasn't listed above?  Feel free to start your own team for a game.  Find out how YOU can represent NU in one or more of these titles, and become a part of the growing gaming community at NU!
