Biography

I was appointed as an assistant professor of economics at Niagara University in Fall 2025. I earned my doctorate in Quantitative Economics from the University of Alabama. My research interests are macroeconomics, fiscal policy, monetary policy, and behavioral finance.  Specifically, I am focused on dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models that are used to improve our understating of the effects of government spending, and the effects of monetary policy shocks on macroeconomic aggregates, by identifying policy shocks that account for unconventional monetary policy.

I am a Jamaican-born national, from Spanish Town, Jamaica. I am passionate about the development of my country and other countries like it. I hope to use my research as a policy guide, not just for the private sector, but also for the governments of these countries.
