Biography
Nicholas Waskow graduated from Niagara University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education with a concentration in English and a minor in American Sign Language & Deaf Studies. As a recent graduate of our program, Nick brings a unique perspective to our staff. He continued his education, earning a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, also from Niagara University.
In the fall of 2022, Nick’s passion for ASL led him to begin an ASL/English interpreter training program with the goal of becoming a certified interpreter.
Why I Sign
I sign because accessibility is a right, not a privilege. Language is a pathway for connection.
