Biography


Jessica DiPalma is an art historian with extensive experience in both academia and the museum world. Before joining the faculty of Niagara University, she was an assistant professor of art history at Erie Community College. Previously, she spent a decade working in the museum field in numerous roles, including curator of education and community engagement at the Buffalo AKG Art Museum. Her museum work includes experience in curation, program development and management, and writing and publications.

Ms. DiPalma has written and lectured extensively on art topics and her work has been included in online and print publications for journals, catalogues, and foundations. She is also the author of the novel Pride, Prejudice and Paintings and the middle grade novel series The Jump.

Ms. DiPalma received her Doctor of Jurisprudence and Master of Arts in art history from the University at Buffalo. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from Baldwin Wallace University.
