Biography


Alison Lytle joined the faculty of the Theatre and Fine Arts Department as an adjunct faculty member in 2017. Alison teaches Foundations Drawing, Painting Workshop, and Advanced Painting. In addition, she has designed and taught dozens of visual arts programs for the Castellani Art Museum.

 

Her professional experience spans over thirty-five years in the USA and abroad. Prior to Niagara University, Alison held positions as Senior Director of the University of Dallas Eugene Constantin Campus (Due Santi, Italy); Lecturer and Adjunct faculty member, University of Dallas Rome Program; Vice Director of the University of Washington Rome Center (Rome, Italy); Fine Arts instructor at the Castellani International School (Grottaferrata, Italy). She has served on the Board of Directors and Advisory Board of Artpark & Company (Lewiston, NY) for over a decade.

 

Alison’s studio practice focuses on sculpture, assemblage and mixed media. Most recently her work was shown at the Castellani Art Museum, 20/20 Vision: Women Artists in Western New York, and can be found in numerous private collections in the USA and abroad.
