Facility Services

What We Do

The Facility Services Department is responsible for the maintenance of university buildings, grounds and equipment in accordance with standard building and life safety codes. The department strives to provide an environment that will enhance the educational mission of the university, and to create an atmosphere conducive to the teaching, learning, working and living experience on campus. Responsibilities include oversight of routine maintenance, planning, renovation and construction of university facilities and athletic fields. In addition, the department oversees energy lighting, custodial services, fire, and environmental health and safety.
