Niagara University’s STEM offerings span computer and information sciences, natural sciences, and specialized high-demand fields. Customizable pathways include cybersecurity and digital forensics, data analytics, biology and biotechnology, chemistry, biochemistry, and bioinformatics.
Students participate in internships and research opportunities—including faculty-mentored research that begins on day one—through programs such as the Niagara University Science Training and Research (NUSTAR) program and the Niagara University Biomedical Research Institute. Through NUSTAR, high-achieving science majors receive early and guided research placement, seminar-based research training, and opportunities to present their work at regional and national conferences.
