Biography


Darin Keesing (Assistant Professor of Design) joins Niagara University for the 2025-26 season. Darin previously taught design and production at Wittenberg University, where he designed scenery, lighting and/or sound for 25 productions including How I Learned to Drive, Angels in America, Part One, Romeo & Juliet, Spring Awakening, Chicago, The Tempest, Eurydice, She Kills Monsters, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Machinal. Darin has been designing scenery and lighting professionally for over 25 years. Recent designs include What the Constitution Means to Me, Falsettos, and Merrily We Roll Along (Available Light Theatre), School Girls; or, the African Mean Girls Play, Mothers and Sons and Master Class (Contemporary Theatre of Ohio), and Little Shop of Horrors (Short North Stage). Darin received an MFA in Stage Design from Northwestern University.
