Niagara University Theatre
Niagara University Theatre, the producing entity of the Department of Theatre and Fine Arts at Niagara University, has been proudly entertaining and educating audiences since 1964. Each season strives for great variety in our productions, ranging from classical to contemporary, musical to physical theatre, traditional to new works. Our productions provide students the opportunities to apply knowledge, skills, and techniques explored in class.

With a focus on learning, community access, and cultural connection, the Castellani Art Museum houses a permanent collection of over 5,000 works—including modern and contemporary art, Niagara Falls-themed pieces, and regional folk art. The museum offers year-round exhibitions, public programs, and educational experiences for visitors of all ages—from students to tourists to lifelong art lovers.

Father Maher Encounters Pope Leo XIV During Vatican Seminar on Future of Higher Ed
The Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., president of Niagara University, returned Friday from Vatican City after joining a select delegation of North American Catholic higher education leaders for a weeklong seminar that culminated in a private audience with Pope Leo XIV.

Niagara University Nursing Dean Named to Business First’s ‘Power 200 Women’ for Second Consecutive Year
Dr. Christine Verni, dean and professor of Niagara University’s College of Nursing, was among the honorees included on Buffalo Business First’s 2026 list of Power 200 Women. This marks the second straight year Dr. Verni has been named to the prestigious list, which recognizes a group of local leaders whose talent and influence are fueling economic, social, and cultural growth throughout Western New York.
