Role of Residence Life in Academics

Living on campus is about learning. From having a roommate to figuring out how to study for college exams, the experience of living in a residence hall can have a huge influence on student learning and academic performance.

Residence Life places great importance on its role as a partner in the academic mission of the university. One of the ways it emphasizes this role is by encouraging students to utilize the Academic Support Program located in Seton Hall.

As part of the Living and Learning Community (LLC) effort, this program focuses on the "Learning" in the LLC. The Academic Support Program offers services and information to help students invest in their education.
