Auditions & Interviews

For prospective and transfer students seeking entry into the B.F.A. performance, B.F.A. design and production or B.F.A. theatre specializations programs for the 2020-2021 academic year, applicants are required to audition and/or interview. 

*At this time, we are still in the process of solidifying our dates and format for the our upcoming auditions. More information will be made available as soon as they are confirmed.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that we have expanded our outreach throughout the region! We will be attending the following events to audition and interview prospective theatre students:

  • Nov. 12-15: CAP United Auditions


    Nov. 12-15, 2020

    "CAP is a network of industry professionals with years of experience in the college audition field. Together, they have created a website with all the information and technology that you will need to stay on track throughout your process. The 2020 CAP United Auditions will be held on a virtual platform. The same amazing audition opportunity from the safety of your home! Students attending the CAP United Auditions have the opportunity to audition for ALL of the schools in attendance."

  • Dec. 4-6: Michigan Thespian Festival


    Dec. 4-6, 2020

    "This year’s festival will be fully online. Events begin the afternoon of December 4th and run through the afternoon of December 6th. There will be many new and exciting features that we can only do in an online format, so everyone should come and join in the fun!"

  • Dec. 12: Mid-Atlantic Regional College Theatre & Dance Auditions

    "The MARCAs will be moving to a virtual format for Fall 2020. Even though we cannot meet in person, we want to make sure that students from the Mid-Atlantic region still get their chance to showcase their talents for recruiters from across the country."

  • Ohio Unified Auditions


    TBD, Jan. 2020

    "Audition/Interview for a diverse group of College and Universities from across the state of Ohio and surrounding states. Auditions are grouped by intended major.  Students present their material for all schools at once.  At the end of the audition, our high education representatives will post callbacks and establish a college fair style atmosphere.  Parents and students are welcome to speak with the schools that show interest in the student and discuss the next steps in the application/audition process."

  • NU BFA Auditions & Interviews


    Sunday, Jan. 26 & Sunday, Feb. 23, 2020

    On the beautiful campus of Niagara University, within the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre. Prospective theatre students attending our on-campus auditions will only be required to attend one of these two audition dates.
