Staying Busy as a Graduate Student

Hello, everyone! Well, quite a lot has been going over the past few weeks in my department. We just had out first off-campus information session at Resurgence Brewery in Buffalo! It was an awesome event and I loved having the opportunity to meet so many new students interested in any one of our master’s degrees or advanced certificates. Students had the opportunity to talk to members of our Graduate Studies Department and any of the program representatives or faculty. All in all, it was a great event that we really enjoyed putting on!

In addition, we are currently in the high season of travel for our graduate recruiters. If you see myself or another Niagara representatives at any of your local graduate fairs, stop by and visit! I’ll be in the Rochester area at Houghton College, Alfred University, SUNY Geneseo, RIT, and St. John Fisher this week! A number of our other GAs or program faculty will be attending other graduate fairs in New York state and Canada region. For more information on these graduate fairs or our other graduate events this semester, please visit www.niagara.edu/gradevents. We look forward to meeting you soon!

And lastly, my office has been extremely busy planning for our Fall Graduate Open House happening on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 9:30 a.m. on our beautiful campus. For individuals looking into Niagara for a master's program or advanced certificate, Open House is a great opportunity to take a tour of our campus, meet with faculty and gain important information about Niagara University’s Graduate Programs. To register for Open House, please visit www.niagara.edu/achieve.

Can’t wait to see you soon!
