The following four-year plans provide illustrative examples of how courses for our majors, B.S. in chemistry B.S. in biochemistry, and B.A. in chemistry, may be planned out. Your course schedule will be individualized dependent on your interests and actual course offerings.
Italics indicate where requirements differ between the two most common majors: B.S. in chemistry and B.S. in biochemistry. Asterisks (*) indicate major-specific courses. Typical credit hours are indicated in parentheses. Elective courses may be taken with lab (4 credits) or without lab (3 credits). Honors research is 3 credits per semester while regular research is 2 credits.
