Writing Rubrics


The Association of American Colleges & Universities developed the VALUE rubrics (Valid Assessment of Learning in Undergraduate Education) to provide faculty and institutions with tools to help them assess student learning. The rubrics are freely available and can be used as-is or can be adapted to suit individual or departmental needs. There are 16 rubrics currently available (AAC&U VALUE rubrics):
