Ridgefest 2018 will be April 18-21. The schedule will be released in March. Look below at last year's schedule.

Wednesday, April 19

  • Earth Day Celebration | 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. | Gallagher Center

    Come down to the lower level of Gallagher and check out all of the displays celebrating Earth Day!  

    The Eco-Fair will consist of campus and community vendors who will discuss ways to “be green”.  Drawing at 1:30 for Eco-Fair giveaways. 
    Visit vendors to qualify.

  • Women's Lacrosse vs. Marist | 2 p.m. | Niagara Field

    Support the Purple Eagles and come out to cheer on the women's lacrosse team as they battle Marist!

  • Amber Galloway Gallego | 6 p.m. | Clet Dining Commons

    • Amber Galloway Gallego, the pink-haired YouTube sensation who brought American Sign Language music interpretation into the mainstream, will present a free workshop at 6 p.m. April 19 at Niagara University.

      Sponsored by the university’s ASL and Deaf studies program and ASL club, the event, which will be held in the Clet Hall Dining Commons, is open to the public. Students should RSVP to Jackie DiFonzo at jdifonzo@niagara.edu or call 716.286.8630.

  • Awesome People Saying Awesome Things | 6:30 p.m. | Golisano Center, Room 101

    • Awesome People Saying Awesome Things (APSAT) is a literary event where students perform pieces on their or others experiences in and around the LGBTQIA+ community. Come support!
  • Live Primates Visit NU! | 8 p.m. | Dunleavy Hall, room 127

    • Carmen Presti introduces live primates individually throughout the presentation to interact with the audience, while speaking about their unique
      characteristics. Real live monkey business at NU!

Thursday, April 20

  • Challenges & Rewards | 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. | Outside Gallagher Center

    Noon Tunes ft. Dom Hannon, Chilly Billy ice cream, TKE Challenges & NU Challenge! Be one of the fastest to run through the obstacle course to win Nike gift cards! 

  • Henna Night | 4:30 p.m. | Gallagher Center Multi-Purpose Room

    Henna, music, dance, fun! The Muslim Student Alliance of Niagara is hosting its first ever HENNA NIGHT! Come relax and eat some delicious international food while getting some henna done!

  • "Before The Flood" | 5:30 p.m. | St. Vincent's Hall, room 407

    Come join in on the discussion about climate change while watching this Leonardo DiCaprio hit film. Free pizza! Co-sponsored by NU Goes Green and the political science department.

  • Escape Golisano! | 8 p.m. | Golisano Center, room 101

    In the spirit of escape rooms, we are hosting an “Escape from Golisano” night. Teams of four students will compete in their great escape. A series of eight activities in different rooms within the Golisano Center.  

    Winning teams will receive $200 in Galleria Mall gift cards!

  • NU Lip Sync Battle | 6 p.m. | Clet Dining Commons

    In the style of lip sync battles seen on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle, Niagara University students will now have the opportunity to compete for the title of NU Lip Sync Battle Champion of Ridgefest 2017!

    In this entertaining event, contestants (as individuals or groups) will show off their dance moves and lip singing skills and entertain the crowd and judges in 3-5 minute time slots to the song or mashup of songs of their choice!

    Don’t be afraid to go all out with costumes, props, and choreography and lose your dignity for a night – you can regain it with huge cash prizes!

    Prizes are as follows: First place: $300 – Second place: $200 – Third place: $100.

    Signups are in the Campus Activities Office – get there fast as there are only 15 spots available to compete! Bring your friends and we will see you there! Free food, too!

  • Late Nite Niagara - Spidey The Mentalist | 9 p.m. | Dunleavy Hall, room 127

    Spidey has emerged as an elite performer all over North America! His expertise in hypnosis, mentalism and magic will have your jaw dropping in amazement and stomach turning with amusement! All students
    welcome! Free pizza!

    In the style of The Amazing Race, teams of three or four students race across campus to accomplish tasks. Look out for detours!
