Graduating Seniors

*Students with a 3.0 GPA or higher may be eligible to take a graduate level course

Scheduling a Mandatory Senior Check

At your senior check appointment, you will sit down one-on-one to review your curriculum. The proactive contract is a formal review of your completed coursework and official degree requirements where we can answer questions, identify your remaining requirements, possible minors, possibilities for graduate courses, etc.  The format is more formal than the student checks we offer every semester.

To schedule an appointment:

  • Call 716.286.8336.

  • Stop by the Dean’s Office (Academic Complex Room 221)

  • May/August Graduates: Complete your check during the summer, August, September, or October.

  • December Graduates: Complete your senior check during the spring semester.

Student Teaching Eligibility

  • Is your overall GPA higher than 2.5?
  • Is your content GPA higher than 2.5?
  • Will you have your L&S and 2 successful 30 hour TA's completed?
