Kaylyn Townsend, MSW, is the Project Director of the Rose Bente Lee Ostapenko Center for Race, Equity, and Mission at Niagara University. Kaylyn earned her master’s in social work from the University of Pennsylvania with a macro concentration, and her bachelor’s in social work and bachelor’s psychology from Niagara University. As a macro-trained practitioner, Kaylyn is passionate about systems-based change and social policy. Kaylyn has completed her field placements at Women Against Abuse in Philadelphia, PA, serving as a Public Policy Intern, and at the NU Ostapenko Center for Race, Equity, and Mission, serving as a Community Outreach Intern.
Currently, Kaylyn is leading the Ostapenko Center’s COVID-19 response in the City of Niagara Falls.
