My Time at Niagara

My Time at Niagara

My time spent at Niagara University has been fulfilling, exciting, and worthwhile – to say the least.

As a master’s student in my final year of the clinical mental health counseling program and a graduate assistant with disability services, I have been able to meet and work with so many wonderful people.

When I started school here five years ago as an undergraduate student, I knew I made the right decision. The atmosphere on campus made me feel like I was part of a community, allowing me to find my niche, both socially and academically.

I look back now and realize how much I have gained from my time spent here. I conquered my fears and stepped out of my comfort zone by leaving home.

To my benefit, I ended up finding a new home right here at Niagara. Professors both guided and challenged me academically, and I feel confident that I will continue to take what I learned from them into my future endeavors.

In addition to faculty and staff, I have become friends with so many people who have opened my eyes to different passions, interests, and experiences. I have learned from my peers just as much as I have learned from my professors.

My time here has provided me with endless opportunities for growth and to find success in many different areas of my life. I am certain that for years to come I will be reflect upon the memories I have made here.

I am fortunate for my experiences at Niagara, and am proud to be a Purple Eagle.
