The Village

The Village of Lewiston, the town in which Niagara University is located, was named "The Most Historic Square Mile in America" by  President Jimmy Carter. Today, the homes and buildings that remain from the 1800s are still the heart of the village, which is also home to unique restaurants, festivals and  institutions renowned for their theatrical and artistic venues.  This charming and quaint community with so much  to offer  enjoys hosting visitors from all over the world. It is located just four miles northeast of NU. For a full schedule of activities in the area, visit www.niagarariverregion.com.
