Liberal arts is a flexible program built on one-on-one student and faculty contact. Students are encouraged to find faculty members whose specialization or interests are as close as possible to their own. Initially, the liberal arts director will help you to connect with faculty in your disciplines who may share similar interests.
Students pursuing a liberal arts major will be able to develop close ties to faculty in one or more of their disciplines. With the liberal arts director, they will serve as important guides as you complete your program. They can provide support, guidance and disciplinary knowledge as students develop their major interests. They may also work with you on your senior thesis.
Doug Tewksbury, Ph.D., acting program director for liberal arts, works closely with students to develop their individual curriculum and to complete their capstone project. Please contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
