A born and raised Buffalonian, Peter began his hospitality career at the Statler Hotel which at the time was a 1000 room facility in downtown Buffalo. With a Business and Marketing degree from the University of Buffalo Florczak worked his way up in the industry working at various hotels around Buffalo eventually becoming the Director of Sales at the Edgertown Resort on Martha’s Vineyard. Three years later he was asked to manage the 356 room Marriot Hotel in Amherst NY and spent the next nine years there.

Peter and his wife Lisa also started Water Bikes of Buffalo LLC operating a water bike rental company at Canalside on Buffalo’s waterfront.
