Paul began teaching at Niagara University in the summer of 1979 for the College of Business Administration. He taught classes in Financial & Managerial Accounting, Intermediate & Cost Accounting, Auditing, Advanced Accounting & Governmental & Not-for-Profit Accounting.

After joining the College of Hospitality and Tourism Management, he teaches the Hospitality Industry Financial and Hospitality Industry Managerial Accounting classes. Paul uses the Walt Disney Co. annual financial report for many real life examples, along with many trips to the Walt Disney World Resort as an annual passholder. Paul also includes examples from many stays at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in King of Prussia, PA. The Pinehurst Golf Resort in North Carolina is another example.

In September 1980, he was hired as a full-time faculty member at Niagara County Community College where he has attained the rank of Professor and has also served as Coordinator of the Accounting Programs.

Prior to teaching at NU and NCCC, Paul worked in Public Accounting, and also for the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance and the New York State Public Service Commission. Paul has also been preparing individual tax returns for clients over 40 years.

Paul and his wife, Molly, have resided in the Village of Depew since 1989. They have three Shih-Tzus named Seamus, Riley, and Cassidy. An avid golfer he has two hole-in-ones in 50 years. He was also a long suffering Chicago Cubs fan until 2016.
