Relays order to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.

Totals bill and accepts payment or refers the patron to Cashier.
Ladles soup, tosses salads, portions pies and desserts, brews coffee, and performs other services

SUMMARY
Performs work activities to ensure clean, orderly attractive rooms in hotels and similar establishments by
performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be
assigned.
Performs a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing and vacuuming.
Responsible for changing and laundering linen.
Replenishes restroom supplies, towels and performs related services.
Scrubs lavatory, floors, walls, mirrors, and fixtures.
Obtains list of vacant rooms which need to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check outs in
order to prepare work assignments.
Inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Advises manager or desk clerk of rooms ready for occupancy.
Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies are in guest rooms.
Investigates complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment, and takes corrective action.
Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or
equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
Ensure guest comments to be 95% favorable. Turn all lost and found items in to your supervisor and log
room or location where found, be 100% accurate of description, and know reporting procedure.

Bell Staff.
Check out all guests who require individualized check-out service.
Handles professionally all incoming calls, mail, faxes, and messages for guests and staff members.
Transmits and receives messages from the telephone, in-house paging system and/or in-house radio system.
Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services; registration of guests; and shopping, dining, entertainment,
available packages, and travel directions.
Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
Makes, cancels, and confirms reservations.
Posts charges such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to guest account.
Assists guest with restaurant, transportation, or entertainment needs, and arranges for tours and packages.
Handles complaints courteously and relays them through proper channels if need be.
Complete knowledge of all available rates.
Maintains desk area clean and orderly at all times.
Complete knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
Give the guest a "Courtesy call" within 30 minutes of arrival.
Complete daily shift balancing report.
Check area hotels to inquire about availability.
