Michelle Blackley Glynn is the owner and chief creative officer at Full Plate Publicity, a public relations and social media agency for the travel, hospitality, culinary and luxury lifestyle industries. With offices locally and in Naples, F.L. along with a strong international presence, she oversees an integrated approach to cultivating fresh, creative and thoughtful media campaigns. Specializing in hospitality and luxury lifestyle brands allows Glynn to provide invaluable media saturation throughout the globe.
With almost 15 years of experience, including a former career in print journalism and book publishing, Glynn is also the host of “Pearls, Plates & Planes” on LCTV and 90.5 FM. Glynn is a Director-at-Large for the PRSA (Public Relations Society of America) Buffalo Niagara Chapter and involved with the Northeast District: PRSA; and on the board of directors at Lockside Art Center. She is a regular contributor to Niagara Frontier Publications.
While in graduate school at New York University, Blackley’s coverage of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the Twin Towers was published in “The Washington Square News” and received acknowledgment from the journalism school as the “Best News Coverage” story for 2001. She also interviewed former U.S. President Bill Clinton for the same publication. During her tenure as publicity manager at IIL Publishing, New York, Blackley took a start-up book division with one title to a multiple title publisher with books in mainstream brick-and-mortar and online stores. Additionally, she was an adjunct instructor of Communication at Buffalo State College for six years, teaching Media Literacy and Public Speaking.
