The orientation hosted by the Graduate School is geared toward students from most graduate programs. The graduate orientation provides an opportunity to learn about university resources and network with other new graduate students, along with representatives of NU’s faculty, staff, and administration. Topics include: graduate school and NU policies, general academic requirements, library resources, IT services and campus resources. It is not mandatory and it is very general in nature. Some, but not all, departments also offer program-specific orientations; check with your department for more information.
The Fall 2016 New Graduate Student Orientation will be held Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at 5 p.m. in Lower Level Gallagher Center.
A mandatory orientation for international students is held each fall and spring term through the Office of International Relations. Please visit www.niagara.edu/international-admissions for more information.
