Susan Scibetta Rajnisz assumed a full-time faculty position in 2012 as the field placement coordinator and instructor for the counseling and school psychology programs 2012 after a long career as a NYS permanently certified school psychologist (and adjunct instructor for the university). She holds a psychology from Canisius College, M.S. in school psychology from Radford University, and a certificate of advanced study in clinical mental health counseling from Niagara University. 

Susan is active in several local and state professional organizations and is a past chairperson of the Western New York School Psychologists’ Association.

Susan’s past and current course offerings at Niagara University have included psychological assessment, practicum supervision, characteristics of exceptional learners, lifespan development and multi-cultural counseling. She is a strong proponent of interdisciplinary teamwork in school and community mental health settings, considering this essential for effective intervention. 

Susan has directly witnessed the high level of commitment, knowledge and professionalism associated with Niagara University students and is committed to expanding the demand for Niagara University graduate candidates in these related fields.
