Jennifer E. Beebe is an Associate Professor at Niagara University. In addition to being a Counselor Educator, she is a National Certified Counselor as well as a Certified K-12 Professional School Counselor in New York and Hawaii. Jenifer has worked in multiple settings such as schools, agencies, clinics, and a college counseling center.  As a result, she has provided individual and group counseling to individuals across the lifespan. Her line of research has been focused on bullying, cyber bullying, and counselor development and supervision. One of her recent publications examinedrape myth acceptance among counselors-in-training. Jennifer’s most recent efforts focus on creating prevention and education programs that address sexual assault on college campuses. As a result, she is a co-organizer of Take Back the Night, the red Flag Campaign, and has created a curriculum to address sexual assault education in New Student Orientation at Niagara University. She has partnered with local schools and communities to increase awareness, and education on the roles and responsibilities of the Professional School Counselor. Dr. Beebe has presented at national, regional, and state conferences on bullying, cyber bullying, vicarious trauma, supervision and training, and grief and loss. She also serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Counselor Preparation and Supervision and The Professional Counselor.
