Current Research

My colleague, Dr. Tracy Galuski, and I published, Open Ended Art: Beyond the Basics,\" Redleaf Press in 2018. The book is based on our experiences coaching and observing in early childhood settings. My most recent publications focus on teaching including an article with Dr. Kathleen McGrath, \"Becoming a literacy leader in the 21st century:Fieldwork that facilitates the process,\" in Literacy Research and Instruction. My research interests include how early childhood educators make curriculum decisions and the scholarship of teaching and learning.
