In 2006, a capital fundraising campaign began for a renovation of the Leary Theatre and lower level audience lounge. A new addition north of the Leary Theatre would house a new box office and lobby with an elevator. Additionally, a backstage greenroom and tech storage area would be included, as well as two new classrooms: a 17-station make-up room off the greenroom, and a theatre studio for acting, speech and physical theatre classes off the new audience lounge; this new renovation has resulted in a larger acting studio/ black box performance space in another wing of Clet Hall.
In April of 2010, the newly renovated Leary Theatre and the Elizabeth Ann Clune Center for Theatre opened with a production of Anything Goes directed by Director Emeritus Brother Augustine Towey.
The Leary Theatre is 133-seat venue that has seen nine full seasons since its renovation, with significant updates on the stage deck, lighting equipment, scaffolding, sound systems, etc.
