- Coordinator of the Greece Central School District Middle School's Re-Engagement Center
I have worked in the Greece Central School District for the past nine years. I worked as a high school math teacher, instructional math coach, and currently as the coordinator of our new alternative program, the Re-Engagement Center.
In 2010, I received the Excellence in STEM Teaching Award and, in 2012, earned a doctorate in education from the University of Rochester. I am also an adjunct math professor at Monroe Community College.
Niagara University significantly impacted my career in education. NU taught me that the most important things that you can do as a teacher is to build positive relationships with kids and to believe that all students can learn at high levels. NU also taught me the important of service learning, which is a cornerstone of our Greece Re-Engagement Center program.
