Bio

Paul is very pleased to be a member of the Department of Theatre & Fine arts as an Adjunct Faculty, Vocal Music. Previously, he completed 30 years as a high school choir director at Kenmore West in June 2020.

Professional Experience

Mr. LaDuca’s 30 year career as a high school choir director included countless vocal solos concerts which he accompanied at the Grand Piano.  His Choir performed concerts every year as part of the Buffalo Philharmonic Community Concert Program.  He strived to explore a wide variety of choral literature.

Paul was music director/pianist for 30 different musicals.  Favorites include:  The Drowsy Chaperone, Les Miserables, Legally Blonde, Evita, Sweeney Todd, Beauty and the Beast, Funny Girl, Into the Woods, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Titanic, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Crazy for You,  The Secret Garden, and Pippin.

Paul has performed as an actor, dancer and singer with BUA, Kavinoky, Summerfare, Studio Arena Young Company and ArtPark.  He danced with Zodiaque Dance Company (UB), and did Summer Stock at Hershey Park, and New London Barn PlayHouse.

Current Projects/Research

He currently teaches private piano lessons.  He has 9 years experience as the Organist for St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church, Grand Island.  He has sung with Buffalo Gay Men’s Chorus as well as Unitarian Universalist Chorus in Buffalo.

His most recent performance was in Little Shop of Horrors at Kenmore West High School, as the voice of Audrey II.
