Dr. Wen Feng earned her Ph.D. from the University of Kansas in 2018. She was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Oklahoma State University for the 2019-2020 academic year. She worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts for the 2018-2019 academic year.

Current Research

My primary research is focused on the stability of solitary wave solutions of nonlinear dispersive equations such as the Nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) and Klein-Gordon equations. The NLS equation arises in various physical contexts such as nonlinear optics and plasma physics. The fractional Schrödinger and fractional Klein-Gordon equations arise in a variety of models in quantum physics.

I am also working on problems in nonlinear partial differential equations coming from fluid dynamics. I am working on stability and long time behavior of steady solutions of Magnetohydrodynamics (MHD) equations.
