Alessia Barzetti received her M.A. in Art History and an Advanced Certificate in Museum Studies at State University of New York at Buffalo. She received an Honors Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She is currently earning her Master of Library and Information Sciences from the University of Alberta. Alessia has taught at State University of New York at Buffalo, Niagara County Community College, and the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. She held various curatorial positions with the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum, the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University, and U.B. Art Galleries Anderson Gallery in Buffalo, NY. She currently works in the Local History and Archives Department with the Hamilton Public Library. Prof. Barzetti teaches Pre-historic to Gothic Art, 14th-19th century art, 19th century art and 20th century art at Niagara University. She has recently created a special topics course in Greek and Roman Art for the AHMS program.
