Dr. Chad R. Mangum

Dr. Chad R. Mangum earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from North Carolina State University, having previously attended Taylor University as an undergraduate. His primary research is currently in the representation theory of infinite dimensional Lie algebras and the connection to mathematical physics. He also has research interests in graph theory and the connections between mathematics and music; he has already supervised undergraduate research projects in these areas.
Outside of mathematics, Dr. Mangum enjoys playing the drums, exercising, and staying active in his church.
