Dr. Erdley is currently an adjunct professor at Niagara University. He has been with the School of Nursing in this capacity for the last eight years. He is also employed at the Behling Simulation Center, University at Buffalo. His nursing practice included general medical/surgical, as well as a focus on critical care. His academic career has included general nursing education as well as healthcare informatics and high-fidelity immersive simulation.

Current Research

  • Learner perception of a role player as patient versus a manikin as patient
    • 2 projects: with PT and with nursing
  • Learner readiness for inter-professional learning (nursing focus)
