Adjunct Professor, Physical Theatre
Robin graduated from Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada, the 2-year physical theatre program at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France, then toured with the Canadian Mime Theatre for 4 years. A co-founder of the international touring ensemble Theatre Beyond Words, Robin is presently Artistic Director of the company, specializing in devising and directing original mask, clown and modern commedia dell'arte shows. She teaches physical theatre at Brock University. For NU, she co-directed TBW's original multi-media play Night Train to Foggy Bottom (2008), The Boy Who Could Sing Pictures by John Lazarus (2011) and A Commedia Christmas Carol by Matthew R. Wilson (2014). Robin was most recently a Mime and Movement Consultant for the Shaw Festival’s 2016 production of Our Town.
