About the Brand

The Brand and Style Guide was developed to assist Niagara University employees as they prepare copy or graphics in any form for internal and external communications. These brand guidelines provide us with essential tools necessary to ensure greater consistency among the university assets.

Voice and Tone

Voice and Tone

A common editorial style is an important component of the university’s organizational identity. Niagara’s style guide is based on the standards of The Associated Press Stylebook and Briefing on Media Law.

Logos

Logos

Niagara University's logos provide a visual representation of our brand and all it encompasses. The Niagara logos should be utilized to distinguish our identity rooted in building positive perception therefore increasing student success and the value of an NU degree.

Design

Design

The design section features official colors and typefaces used by Niagara University in addition to design resources such as, letterhead, presentation templates, business cards, email signature guidelines, digital signage requirements and Canva usage.

Guides

Niagara University provides resources to support all digital assets including guidance on university affiliated websites, an image database, an opt-out photo release form, and out social media policy.
