Bio
Dr. Nsafoah joined the faculty in fall 2021. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from University of Calgary in 2021. His main research interests lie in the fields of monetary economics and international macroeconomics. In particular, he is interested in the effects of a central bank’s monetary policy on its own economy and in the spillover effects of foreign monetary policy. He uses both Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) models and Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models in his research.
