Bio
Dr. Hu joined the faculty in the fall of 2020. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from McGill University in 2020. He obtained a B.Com (Hons) degree in Finance at the University of British Columbia and a MSc degree in Finance at Queen’s University. Prior to joining Niagara University, Changjie was a lecturer at McGill and taught Financial Derivatives. He also holds a Professional Risk Manager (PRM) designation. His primary research interests lie in in the area of entrepreneurial finance, corporate disclosure, firm innovation, textual analysis, and topics related to empirical corporate finance in general.
